ELECTRICAL REPAIRS DEPARTMENT
At SLSHOP, protecting the future of classic Mercedes-Benz means looking beyond traditional mechanical craftsmanship. We have invested heavily in a dedicated, in-house electronics department, capable of testing, diagnosing, repairing and rebuilding original electronic components at a microscopic, component level.
42 MILES NEVER SEEN BEFORE!
In 1982, a gentleman from Staffordshire Mr Hough bought a brand-new Mercedes-Benz 500SL. Instead of driving it, he stored it away, cared for it obsessively, and preserved it in a heated garage. Four decades later, the car has just 42 miles on the clock. Not a scratch, not a blemish, it’s as if the showroom doors closed in 1982.

Stripped down, rebuilt, piece by piece. A car reborn with patience and passion. Its owner crossed the ocean. New Jersey to Stratford-upon-Avon. He walked the workshop. Met the people behind the craft. Soon it will head across the Atlantic, to start its life again on new roads. Reborn isn’t restoration. It’s respect for the past, carried forward.
