We offer storage for hard top so you can free-up space at home and focus on enjoying your SL. Should you want your Hard Top fitted, we can arrange for your hard top to be returned to you and even give you that all so important extra hand to fit it.

We are the world’s leading and only R107 SL specialist. Located in Warwickshire, England, our 50,000 sq.ft facility is home to three workshops, a Showroom, Parts Store, Valeting centre and storage facilities. Our storage centre offers an array of long-term and short-term storage functions, all configured to suppor R107 SL owners.
SLSHOP’s R107 SL Car Storage Facility is situated on a private estate away from prying eyes but close enough to the hustle and bustle of Stratford-upon-Avon for easy access. Our storage facility is accessible from the M40, M5 and M6 by road and by train from Stratford-upon-Avon.

Collection and Delivery
We run a fully insured collection and delivery service for your car. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and ask for costs. If you’re delivering your car to us in person then rest easy in the knowledge that our location has easy access to train stations and airport links.
Insurance
Our classic and sportscar storage facility is fully equipped to keep your vehicle secure and fully insured. From the moment we pick the car up to the moment we deliver it back to you, it’s as safe as can be.
STORING YOUR CLASSIC CAR WITH THE SL SHOP
With extensive knowledge and experience dealing with high value vehicles, our team of experts will treat your classic car with the utmost care and respect.
Once your car arrives at our Warwickshire classic car storage facility, it will be taken through our full induction process. This includes:
- Photographs of your car inside and out
- Recording of mileage
- Fluid level checks (oil, antifreeze, screen wash etc.)
- Tyre tread depth check
- Battery fluid level check (n/a for sealed batteries)
Preparation for Collector CAR Storage
After the initial report of your vehicle has been compiled, your car will receive a pre-storage service wash to remove contaminants and residues that can cause damage to paintwork whilst the car is in storage. We’ll also increase the tyre pressure to 50psi to prevent flat spots.
Your car is then placed in storage under a protective cover. Also, a drip tray is placed underneath and a battery conditioner is installed. If you’ve chosen the optional Carcoon(1), this will be applied at this stage.
During storage
Whilst in storage, your car will be protected by our top-of-the-line CCTV system. As a rule, there are no unauthorised people allowed into the facility. Also, all cars are fully insured when they are placed into our care.
We’ll provide basic checks, such as checking for unexpected fluid loss and tyre pressure checks on a periodic basis.

We’re happy to arrange servicing and MOTS whilst your car is in our care. We can provide prices on request.
Preparation YOUR CLASSIC CAR for Collection
When you’re ready to collect your car for that special occasion, or when the first shoots of spring herald the arrival of blue skies and salt-free, dry roads, we ensure that your car is ready for an enjoyable first drive. We require you to provide us with 72 hours notice, at which point we’ll conduct the basic check again. Thereafter, we’ll advise upon any requirements, if necessary e.g. fluid top-ups, tyres etc. . We’ll also let you know if we believe there’s a fault that needs attention.
All cars are cleaned and ready prior to collection.
