A superbly cared for low mileage 300SL in the rather royal combination of silver coachwork with blue fabric roof. With the factory fitted rear seat option ticked, this makes a wonderful and very usable classic.

This SL shows just 27,000 miles, having spent much of it’s life on the Isle of Mann. It enjoys original, blemish free paintwork and retains that ‘new’ SL smell – a sign of having lived a cherished life.

A hand written file within the documentation details a first owner of Maloney & Rhodes Mercedes-Benz, in Cambridge. The original Maloney & Rhodes book pack still lives with the car.

Sold to a Mrs G on the Isle of Mann, the car remained under her careful ownership for 11 years, until it was sold to a Mr R in 2000.

The service documentation shows 13 stamps and a variety of invoices and receipts for work undertaken. Inside the Maloney & Rhodes folder can be found all original manuals, as well as the radio guide, including correspondence between owners
