1989 Mercedes-Benz R107 300 SL with Cream MB Tex (175)

A very well presented low mileage 300 SL with a documented history from the supplying dealer Carols of Wolverhampton. The SL had been purchased by a Mr B Nicholls new in 1989 this then was sold in late 1990 to Mr S Evans who then kept the car for over 18 years with a mileage of 16K a original Carols sales sheet detailing headline specifications with a list price of £38,950 this accompanies the History file. In June 1994 onwards the car was then placed in storage with a mileage of 29500 due to limited annual use, this continued until its sale in 2009. A manual record has been kept of the servicing this accompanies the history file and it’s corroborated by MOT certificates, essentially the car was serviced by Carols for the first five years until 29500 miles.
Jan 2009 with a mileage of 32K the car was purchased by Mr A Humphrey as a private collection until 2014 where it was purchased again by Mr J Potts who maintained the car with a local specialist in Yorkshire . 2016 the 4th owner Mr J Docherty purchased the car with 36K who continued the service with Messrs TJ O Neil a local MB independent servicing agent in Glasgow despite modest mileage. It now has been fully re commissioned to the Standard of the SL Shop with a internal work displayed in the service folder. The service book and manuals are present followed with spare keys and roof handles. The original Carols tax disc from Carols is also present.
