1999 Mercedes Benz R129 SL600 Blue Black Metallic (199) with Grey Nappa Leather (238) V204HBJ

The SL600 was the peak of the R129 range, offering the luxury of a V12 power plant with everything the SL had to offer at the time. Fitted with the legendary M120 6.0 litre engine,the SL600 produced an impressive 402hp. This engine would go on to be used in automotive greats including the CLK GTR Le Mans car and Pagani Zonda, akin to having royal DNA in the car world!

The Blue Black Metallic paintwork (protected at the front, and the lower sills, by PPF) combined with the grey leather interior make for a striking looking car, and from the first turn of the key this SL is every inch the range-topper that it was back in 1999. Incredibly expensive when new, these cars are now very hard to find in such good condition with such good provenance - a lovely car inside and out and surely one to put away for the future… This superb example shows just 63,000 miles and was always serviced at Mercedes-Benz Ipswich before arriving at SLSHOP - where it was immediately purchased by a local collector and squirrelled away seeing very little use.
