1989 Mercedes Benz R107 300SL

Now here's something a little different, an R107 300SL in classic Signal Red over Cream beige but with a twist. This car has been given an AMG style makeover in period to give it a much more sporting look and feel. On the exterior the car has been treated to a set of 16" AMG Penta alloy wheels along which coupled to the lowered ride height, gives a much more purposeful stance. This sporting look is further enhanced by a complete de-chroming of the exterior with all chrome trim parts having been refinished in satin black (very similar to what we would call a "blacl pack" today) and the fitment of a 560SL style boot lid spoiler. Inside a smaller diameter AMG branded sports steering wheel gives a dramatic change to the look and the feel when driving. Having covered just over 30,000 miles, the car presents in excellent overall condition with deep red paintwork and an interior that shows minimal signs of wear. The car has recently been treated to some maintenance work here at SL Shop with new front brake discs and pad, new engine drive belts and new under bonnet insulation being fitted. A service and fresh 1yr MOT will be carried out prior to sale.
