2001 Mercedes-Benz R129 Silver Arrow 500SL

Towards the end of the R129 SL’s production run and before the launch of its R230 successor a limited number of cars were built with an enhanced specification and were designated SL500 Silver Arrow in tribute to the legendary Mercedes-Benz racing cars of the past. Just over 1500 were produced in total with only 100 coming to the UK .  They were all finished in an especially lustrous metallic paint complemented by a two-tone Nappa Leather interior and included a certificate signed by Sir Stirling Moss. This car still retains that certificate within its history file which is rare these days and adds to its limited edition status. Specification highlights include ;
