MERCEDES R129 SL COSMETIC IMPROVEMENTS
The sharp nineties angles of the R129 have made it particularly popular in the modifying scene, with a mix of results. Some of the world’s major household Automotive brands have put their names to modified R129s – AMG started the trend with their own body kits, while the likes of Brabus, Karmann and Koenig and others took things further with slightly more outlandish examples. LOWERING KITS:
Our SportLine department have established the perfect level of adjustment to give your R129 just the right amount of height reduction. You have the option to lower your SL by either 30mm or up to 50mm. The former is perfect to give your vehicle a sportier stance while retaining complete usability, while the latter offers more of a ‘slammed’ stance appropriate for modified shows and to give your car more of a ‘one-off’ aesthetic.
WHEELS:
Pair with the above lowering kits and you have a completely revised aesthetic, guaranteed to ignite envy from your petrolhead peers.
Wheels range in size from 16inch to 17inch in a variety of original and new designs, with an array of OEM and aftermarket brands.
EXHAUSTS:
Gains for your R129 come from the dependable German horses situated beneath the bonnet. For both six cylinder and eighy cylinder variants, we recommend choosing an upgraded stainless steel exhaust system to reveal the true R129 voice. Our exhaust systems are suitable for the SL280, SL300 and SL500.
BODY KITS:
