Finished in the beautiful shade of Blue Black Metallic, this 1988 car is the epitome of the late, facelift Mercedes-Benz R107. With a raft of smart new colours added for the final three years of production, the SLs that left the production line between 1986 and 1989 often look like they have stepped from a modern showroom today. The astute combination of Blue Black with Grey is one of those such combinations. Appearing on our radar around 2018 when it first adorned our showroom, this car was sold to the current owner who has covered barely any miles in the last four years. With leather seats front and rear, an outside temperature gauge and paintwork preservation, this would have been a very expensive SL in 1988-and would have looked a million dollars in Blackburn, where it was registered, against the backdrop of typical British traffic at the time! Offered today in the same superb condition that it enjoyed the last time it stood in our showroom, this is a very smart car indeed.

The history file paints a picture of a well cared for car, complete with the original book pack and service book. There are 17 service stamps present in the book, with the first 11 stamps being from the supplying dealer. Most recently the car underwent work at Mercedes-Benz Nottingham, before arriving at SLSHOP once more.
